Physical Therapy In North Hollywood, CA
Are Any Of These Holding You Back?
You're dealing with pain that won't go away, in your back, shoulder, knee, hip, or neck, and it's affecting your daily life, workouts, or sleep.
You've been told to "just rest" or "take it easy", but the pain comes right back the moment you try to be active again.
You've tried other physical therapy clinics where you were rushed through 15-minute sessions, handed a generic exercise sheet, and saw a different therapist every visit.
You've been relying on painkillers, injections, or braces just to get through the day, and you want a real solution, not a band-aid.
You're worried about needing surgery and want to explore every non-surgical option before going under the knife.
You had surgery and need expert rehabilitation to get back to full strength, full range of motion, and your active lifestyle.
If You Said Yes, You're In The Right Place.
- We hear these frustrations every single week. People come to us after months, sometimes years, of dealing with pain that nobody has been able to fix. They've been bounced between doctors, given vague diagnoses, and told to "live with it."
- The truth is, most pain and movement problems have a clear, identifiable cause. The problem isn't that your body is broken. The problem is that nobody has taken the time to figure out what's actually wrong.
- At Strike Physiotherapy & Performance, we do things differently. Every session is one-on-one with a doctor of physical therapy We don't rush. We don't use cookie-cutter protocols. We find the root cause, build a plan around it, and fix it, so the problem stays gone.

A Message From A Licensed Physical Therapist
"WE TREAT THE BODY AS A WHOLE. THE LOCATION OF YOUR PAIN IS RARELY THE ACTUAL CAUSE OF YOUR PROBLEM."
Most clinics focus on where it hurts. If your knee hurts, they treat the knee. If your back hurts, they treat the back. But what they miss is that pain is often the result of a chain reaction — weak hips causing knee overload, a stiff mid-back putting stress on the low back, poor shoulder mechanics creating impingement.
Specialized Physical Therapy Programs
We offer targeted programs designed for specific goals and lifestyles, because a runner’s rehab plan shouldn’t look the same as a lifter’s or a post-surgical patient’s.
Return To The Gym
You may feel temporary relief, but once you resume activities, the pain and stiffness come right back. Rest doesn’t fix the underlying dysfunction, it just delays confronting it.
Return To Running
Return To Sport
For athletes at every level, from recreational to competitive, who want to get back to their sport bigger, faster, and stronger than before their injury. Includes sport-specific testing and performance benchmarks.
Post-surgical Rehab
What You've Been Told Vs. The Truth
Before finding us, most of our patients were given well-meaning but ineffective advice. Here’s what’s wrong with it, and what actually works.
✕ Bad Advice
"Just REST And It'll Go Away"
You took time off. The pain faded. Then you tried to be active again, and it came right back. Rest doesn’t fix the underlying weakness or movement dysfunction. It just pauses the symptoms temporarily.
✓ The Reality
Targeted Rehab Fixes The Cause
When you strengthen the weak areas and correct the movement faults that created the problem, you eliminate the pain at its source, and it doesn’t come back when you resume your activities.
✕ Bad Advice
"You'll Probably Need Surgery"
Surgery is sometimes necessary, but far too often it’s recommended before conservative treatment has been properly attempted. Many conditions that seem surgical respond remarkably well to expert physical therapy.
✓ The Reality
Physical Therapy Should Be Tried First
Research consistently shows that physical therapy is as effective as surgery for many common conditions, including rotator cuff tears, meniscus tears, spinal stenosis, and more. The right PT can save you from the operating table.
✕ Bad Advice
"All PT Is Basically The Same"
Most PT clinics see 3-4 patients at once, use aides for the majority of your session, and hand you a generic exercise sheet. You get 15 minutes of actual therapist time if you’re lucky.
✓ The Reality
The Quality Of PT Matters Enormously
✕ Bad Advice
"Just Take Painkillers And Push Through"
Painkillers mask the problem while the underlying issue gets worse. You feel less pain, so you keep loading a dysfunctional movement pattern, until the damage becomes harder to reverse.
✓ The Reality
Fix The Problem, Not The Symptom
Pain is your body’s signal that something is wrong. Instead of silencing that signal, we find what’s causing it and fix it. That’s how you get lasting relief, not a temporary mask.

What Makes Strike PT Different
At Strike Physiotherapy & Performance, you’re not a number. You’re not being rotated through a revolving door of therapists, crammed into a room with four other patients, or handed a generic exercise sheet that every other patient in the building is doing.
Every single session is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, for a full session. No aides, no assistants, no distractions. You get his undivided expertise and attention because that’s what it takes to get real, lasting results.
We treat the body as a whole. Through our extensive training and experience, we understand that the location of your pain often doesn’t reflect the actual cause. Not only do we fix your current problem, we identify and target weak areas throughout your entire body to decrease the likelihood of future injuries.
As a former competitive combat athlete himself, licensed physical therapist understands the demands of an active lifestyle. While many providers will simply tell you to stop your desired activity, we understand that avoiding the things you enjoy most because of an injury is no way to live.
What Sets Us Apart:
- Running, lifting, and training at full intensity, without guarding your back or fearing a flare-up.
- Waking up in the morning without stiffness, getting through your day with energy and zero discomfort.
- Bending, twisting, and carrying things without bracing yourself or dreading the consequences.
- Playing with your kids, keeping up with your active lifestyle, and finally feeling like yourself again.
- Having a bulletproof back, with the strength, mobility, and knowledge to make sure the pain never returns.
Real People. Real Results.

Everything was going well until I started to develop pain in my right shoulder. It got so bad I thought I was going to have to stop. Fortunately through researching Physio Therapists in my area, I came across Levan at Strike. He not only put together a program to work on my shoulder, he also partnered with my trainer at the gym. This enabled me to get my shoulder pain resolved, but allowed me to continue at the gym! Levan is a fantastic Physio Therapist! I highly recommend him.Posted on Google Sabrina ZoharTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Strike PT different from a typical physical therapy clinic?
Three things. First, every session is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy — never shared, never handed off to assistants or techs. Second, we operate on a cash-pay model, which means we treat based on what you need, not what insurance approves. Third, we specialize in active adults and athletes, so we don’t just get you out of pain — we get you back to performing.
How many sessions per week will I need?
Most patients come 1–2 times per week. Because our sessions are longer and fully individualized, we accomplish in one visit what traditional clinics often spread across 3–4 visits a week.
How long is each session?
Your initial evaluation is 90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes, fully dedicated to you with no overlap or double-booking.
Can I bring my coach, training partner, or a family member to my session?
Absolutely. We encourage it when it helps — especially for athletes whose coaches want to understand the rehab plan or family members supporting a loved one through recovery.
