Sound Familiar?

Is Shoulder Pain Keeping You From Living Your Life?

You're constantly dealing with a nagging ache in your shoulder that just won't go away, no matter what you try.

Your injury has forced you to stop training, competing, or doing the activities you love most.

Lifting weights, reaching overhead, or even getting dressed has become painful or difficult.

You can't sleep on your side anymore because the shoulder pain wakes you up at night.

You've been told to "just rest" or that "surgery is your only option", and neither answer feels right.

You're looking for a real, lasting solution, not another temporary fix that wears off in a few hours.

If This Sounds Like You, You're In The Right Place.

What Hasn't Worked

Perhaps You've Already Tried…

If any of these sound familiar, you’re not alone. These are the most common paths people take before finding us, and they rarely provide lasting relief.

Resting & Hoping

You stopped training and took time off, expecting the pain to go away on its own, but it lingered, and now you've lost strength and confidence.

Ice & Heat

You've iced it, heated it, and tried every home remedy you could find, but the relief is always temporary and the pain keeps coming back.

Pain Medication

You've relied on ibuprofen or prescription painkillers to get through the day, but you know that masking the problem isn't the same as fixing it.

Doctor Visits

You visited your doctor hoping for answers, but were told to "wait it out" or that surgery might be your only option, neither of which felt right.

The Truth

Here's What They're Not Telling You

Rest Alone Won't Fix It

As an active person, stopping your routine leaves you feeling restless and disconnected from your goals. And without treatment, the underlying issue often gets worse, not better.

Ice & Heat Are Band-Aids

They may temporarily ease the sting, but they do nothing to address the structural or mechanical dysfunction that's actually causing your shoulder pain.

Medication Masks the Problem

Pain meds may dull the symptoms, but relying on them long, term creates additional health risks, and the pain always returns when the pills wear off.

Surgery Isn't Your Only Option

Many shoulder conditions respond extremely well to targeted physical therapy, often avoiding surgery entirely while achieving better long, term outcomes.

So What Actually Works?

Why Strike PT

What Sets Strike Pt Apart From Everyone Else

At Strike Physiotherapy & Performance, your shoulder pain treatment isn’t a cookie, cutter protocol handed to everyone who walks through the door. We don’t give you a sheet of exercises and send you on your way.

We work with you. Every session is one, on, one with a Licensed Physical Therapist, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist who personally evaluates your shoulder, assesses your movement, and builds a treatment plan designed specifically for your body and your goals.

We know that shoulder pain is unique to the person experiencing it. A rotator cuff issue in a combat athlete requires a completely different approach than shoulder impingement in a desk worker. That’s why our plans are 100% personalized.

From your first assessment to your final session, we’re on this journey together, working to eliminate your pain and build a stronger, more resilient shoulder that can handle whatever life throws at it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you treat rotator cuff injuries without surgery?

In most cases, yes. Research shows that most rotator cuff injuries — including partial tears — respond as well to physical therapy as they do to surgery in the long term. We’ll assess your specific injury and give you an honest recommendation.

Rarely. We’ll typically modify your training — adjusting range of motion, load, or specific exercises — while we address the underlying issue. Complete avoidance often makes shoulders weaker and more fragile. The goal is to keep you training while we fix the problem.

Yes. Frozen shoulder is one of the more challenging conditions we treat, but with the right combination of hands-on manual therapy and progressive mobility work, we can significantly reduce pain and restore range of motion.

It depends on the injury. Simple impingements often resolve in 4–6 sessions, while post-surgical or frozen shoulder cases can take 3–6 months of consistent work. We’ll give you a clear timeline after your initial evaluation.

That’s our specialty. We don’t consider you “done” when the pain is gone — we’re done when you can return to your sport at full capacity, with a stronger and more resilient shoulder than before.
